Elijah
I walked with God, child;
King Ahab did not.
So he vowed to get me
with all that he got.
A famine, some ravens,
some flour and oil,
an altar with water
soaking the soil.
As if my adventures
in life weren’t enough,
a chariot of fire
swept me above.
Oh,
please walk with God, child,
though dangers loom large.
Hold fast to the Savior,
for He is in charge.
Oh,
stand strong for Him, child,
though you feel alone.
He has many children
that He calls His own.
