Description

Every person is spiritually dead because of sin.  The Bible declares it so.  The good news of the gospel is that God is in the business of making the dead come to life.  When a person believes that Jesus Christ has died in their place and is risen again, the Holy Spirit gives them new life.  Dry bones become animated with muscles and sinews.  A stony heart becomes a heart of flesh.  Coffins and graves are replaced with gardens and growth.  All this is a work of God, and the believer who experiences this new life looks up to God with gratitude in their eyes.
